Cold Savory Appetizer Recipes
Volcano Bread
1 round of rye, hollowed out
Filling:
8 ounces sour cream
1 (1 ounce) package Knorr's vegetable soup mix
1 cup mayonnaise
1 (4 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts
10 ounces chopped, frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, sliced
6 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded
Mix all together and refrigerate 2 - 4 hours. Pile into hollowed-out bread.
Serve with crackers or rye bread cubes.
