Scallops in Bacon Jackets

Ingredients

  • 20 shelled scallops
  • Salt and pepper
  • 20 slices bacon
  • Lemon juice
  • Tartar sauce

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle scallops with salt and pepper.
  2. Squeeze lemon on each scallop.
  3. Wrap a slice of bacon around each scallop, securing with a wooden cocktail pick.
  4. Broil slowly for about 5 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  5. Serve hot with tartar sauce.
