Pumpkin Apple Bread
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon each nutmeg, cloves and ginger
- 1 1/2 cups apples, pared and diced (about 2 medium apples)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, vanilla extract and pumpkin. Mix.
- Sift dry ingredients and add to pumpkin mixture.
- Fold in apples and turn into a greased and floured* 10 inch Bundt or angel food cake pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 to 60 minutes.
- When done, turn out on a rack to cool.
- Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
Notes
* For best results, use our Pan Release!
