Tomato Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups tomato juice
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Boil tomato juice.
  2. Add baking soda, salt and sugar.
  3. Mix cornstarch and milk together, and pour into tomato mixture. Bring to a boil.
  4. Serve on scrambled eggs or fried mush.
