Coconut Philly Fudge

4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup shredded coconut
Dash of salt
1/4 cup crushed peppermint candy (to garnish)

Gradually add sugar to softened cream cheese, mixing until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread into greased 8-inch square pan. Garnish with coconut, if desired.

Chill several hours or overnight; cut into squares.
