Pinnacle Peak Patio Cowboy Beans
Yield: 6 to 8 servings
Ingredients
- 1 pound pinto beans
- 1 small ham hock
- Salt, to taste
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon chopped green chiles
- Pinch of whole leaf oregano
Instructions
- Soak beans in water overnight.
- Add remaining ingredients. Cook for 4 to 5 hours over medium heat or until beans are tender.
