Shaw House Bed & Breakfast Grits Casserole

1 cup raw grits
4 cups water
1 box Jiffy cornbread
1 cup milk
1 pound sausage
1 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
4 eggs
1 teaspoon salt

Add 1 cup raw grits to 4 cups boiling water and 1 teaspoon salt. Let cool.

Saut 1 pound sausage and drain.

Beat 4 eggs with 1 cup milk.

Add all together with 1 box of Jiffy mix. Put in 13 x 9-inch casserole. Cover all with cheese.

Bake at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes.
