Mud Hens

1/2 cup butter
1 (1 ounce) square chocolate, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup walnuts
1 teaspoon baking powder

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 15 x 10-inch jellyroll pan.

Combine all above ingredients and spread in prepared pan.

Filling:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup walnuts
2 tablespoons flour
1 egg
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (2 ounces reserved for frosting)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (6 ounce) package chocolate chips
2 cups miniature marshmallows

Combine all except chocolate chips and marshmallows, and spread over unbaked layer. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake for 22-25 minutes.

When done, sprinkle marshmallows over the top and put back in oven for 4-5 minutes. Cool and frost.

Frosting:
1/4 cup butter
2 ounces cream cheese
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 (1 ounce) square chocolate, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk (or less)

Mix. Add milk a little at a time until the desired consistency.

Cut into small pieces.
