Brown Sugar Brownies
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 cups light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups unsifted flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped nuts
Heat oven to 375 degrees F (350 degrees F for glass dish).
In medium mixer bowl, cream together butter and sugar; beat in eggs. Stir
in flour, vanilla extract and nuts. Spread into lightly greased 8- or 9-inch
square baking pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near
center comes out clean. Cool. Cut into squares.
Makes 2 dozen.
