Brownie and Blondie Recipes

Malted Milk Brownies

1 cup butter
4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 1/3 cups sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup flour
45 malted milk balls, finely ground
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (16 ounce) can milk chocolate frosting
Malted milk balls, halved

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Line 8-inch square baking pan with foil to overhang.

In pot, melt butter with chocolate. Reduce heat, stir in sugar until combined. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs, flour, malted milk balls, vanilla extract and salt. Spread batter in pan. Bake 40 minutes or until done. Cool in pan. Lift brownies from pan. Remove foil. Spread frosting over top of brownies. Cut into bars.

Garnish with halved malted milk balls.

Makes 20 brownies.
