Mississippi Mud Cookies

1/2 cup milk
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups oats

In saucepan mix together the milk. sugar. butter and cocoa. Bring to a rolling boil, and boil for 1 minute; remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract. Stir in oats. Drop by teaspoonsful onto wax paper. Allow to cool completely.
