Mississippi Mud Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
• 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3 cups oats

Instructions

1. In a saucepan mix together the milk. sugar. butter and cocoa. Bring to a rolling boil, and boil for 1 minute; remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract.
2. Stir in oats.
3. Drop by teaspoonsful onto wax paper.
4. Allow to cool completely.
