Arizona Cowpoke Barbecue Sauce

1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup vinegar
3/4 cup lemon juice
2 cups water
5 ounces Worcestershire sauce
1 dash Tabasco sauce

Mix in a saucepan; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
