Almond Gelatin
1 package unflavored gelatine
1/4 cup cold water
1 1/2 cups milk, scalded
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract
Mix gelatine with water. Add sugar to scalded milk. Combine with the gelatine
mixture and stir until gelatine is dissolved. Add the almond extract and mix.
Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan or mold sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Refrigerate
until set.
Cut into cubes or unmold and serve with mandarin oranges, pineapple or fruit
cocktail for color.
