Tuna Patties

Tuna Patties recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 ounce) cans tuna, drained
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients except butter and oil in a bowl. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Drop the tuna mixture by large spoonsful into the hot oil. Flatten slightly and shape into patties. Fry for about 3 to 4 minutes until well browned. Flip them very gently and brown the other side.
  4. Serve with tartar sauce or sauce of your choice.
