Coconut Snowballs Mix in a Jar

Layer the following in a 1-quart jar:

2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups sweetened coconut flakes, lightly packed

Coconut Snowballs:

Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Coat 2 baking sheets with cooking spray.

Beat 4 large egg whites in bowl until stiff, but not dry, peaks form. Beat in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and contents of jar. Drop batter by rounded teaspoonsful 1 inch apart onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cookies cool briefly on baking sheets, then transfer to wire racks to cool.
