Butter Pecan Peach Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 large can sliced peaches in heavy syrup
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) box butter pecan cake mix* (or vanilla cake mix)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Pour peaches with syrup into 9 x 13 inch pan.
  2. Sprinkle dry cake mix over peaches.
  3. Drizzle butter over cake mix.
  4. Sprinkle coconut and pecans over that.
  5. Bake for 55 minutes at 350 degrees F.

Notes

* 18.25 ounce boxes of cake mix have been replaced by 16 ounce boxes. To compensate for the volume loss, whisk 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour into the dry cake mix before proceeding with the recipe.
