Butter Pecan Peach Cake
Ingredients
- 1 large can sliced peaches in heavy syrup
- 1 (18.25 ounce) box butter pecan cake mix* (or vanilla cake mix)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Pour peaches with syrup into 9 x 13 inch pan.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix over peaches.
- Drizzle butter over cake mix.
- Sprinkle coconut and pecans over that.
- Bake for 55 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Notes
* 18.25 ounce boxes of cake mix have been replaced by 16 ounce boxes. To compensate for the volume loss, whisk 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour into the dry cake mix before proceeding with the recipe.
