Spicy Asian Ground Pork Burgers

Spicy Asian Ground Pork Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, minced
  • 4 sandwich buns

Instructions

  1. Mix together all ingredients except buns; form into 4 patties.
  2. Grill over medium-hot coals for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once, about 5 to 6 minutes per side, until an instant read thermometer reads 160 degrees F.
  3. Serve on buns.

Notes

If you want a different topping for your burgers, mix 1 cup of mayonnaise with 1 teaspoon garlic chili paste.
