Aluminum Polish

1 cup alum
1 1/2 cups calcium carbonate (whiting)
1 cup talc

Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Store in a sealed jar. Apply with a soft, damp cloth or sponge, rubbing briskly. Rinse and polish dry with a soft, clean cloth.
