Liquid Silver Polish

2 cups water
1/2 cup whiting
1/4 cup soap flakes
1 1/2 teaspoons ammonia

Boil water in saucepan (not aluminum). Remove from heat. Add soap flakes and dissolve. Stirring constantly, add whiting. Beat vigorously until blended. Cool completely. Stir in ammonia and blend well. Store in tightly covered bottle. To use, shake well. Apply with damp cloth, rubbing gently. Rinse and buff dry.
