Maple Candied Walnuts

Simple and delicious Maple Candied Walnuts are great for snacking and appetizers.

Maple Candied Walnuts

Cook: 25 min | Yield: 16 servings, 1/4 cup each

Ingredients

  • 4 cups California walnut halves
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Combine walnuts and maple syrup in a large bowl; mix until evenly coated.
  2. Stir in sesame seeds.
  3. Spread on nonstick, or parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake at 325 degrees F for 25 minutes, stirring twice, until walnuts are lightly browned.
  5. Cool on baking sheet; walnuts will become dry and crunchy as they cool.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
