Cranberry Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 6 or 7 Granny Smith apples
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole cranberry sauce
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup nuts
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. For filling, peel, core, and slice apples using the Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicer. Cut slices in half using 8 inch Chef's Knife; place in 9 x 13 inch Baker.
  3. In Classic 2-quart Batter Bowl, combine cranberry sauce, sugar, and flour; mix well using Mix 'N Scraper. Pour cranberry mixture over apples in Baker; toss to coat evenly.
  4. For topping, chop nuts using Food Chopper.
  5. Measure brown sugar using Measure All Cup.
  6. Using 1 Cup Adjustable Scoop, measure flour and oats.
  7. Using Adjustable Measuring Spoons, measure cinnamon.
  8. In 1 quart Batter Bowl, combine nuts, oats, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon.
  9. Place butter in Covered Microwave Cooker; microwave on HIGH 30 to 45 seconds or until melted. Add butter to dry ingredients; mix well.
  10. Sprinkle topping over fruit mixture.
  11. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until fruit is tender.
  12. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping, if desired.
