Gingered Pear Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 1 (29 ounce) can pear halves
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 cup of syrup from the pears and the sugar until boiling. Cool.
  2. Place pear halves in blender and puree. Mix with syrup and other ingredients.
  3. Divide, freeze and shave.
