Pampered Chef Recipes
Peppermint Ice
Yield: 8 servings
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup candy canes or red striped peppermint candies, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 3 cups Half-and-Half
- Thawed, frozen whipped topping (optional)
- Additional candy canes, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Chop candies using Food Chopper; place candy pieces and sugar in Classic Batter Bowl. Add boiling water and whisk using Stainless Steel Whisk until candy pieces are completely dissolved.
- Whisk in Half-and-Half.
- Divide mixture evenly among 3 Ice Shaver Tubs; freeze until firm.
- Remove frozen mixture from tubs; shave using Ice Shaver.
- Garnish each serving with whipped topping using Easy Accent Decorator.
- Chop additional candies with Food Chopper; sprinkle over each serving, if
desired.
