Ingredients
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 small onion, cut into quarters
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
Instructions
- Simmer gently for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally to break up tomatoes.
- Remove the onion and garlic and discard.
