Grape Salad
Grape Salad is a much loved salad in the southern United States.
Yield: 12 servings
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 pounds white, seedless grapes
- 2 pounds red, seedless grapes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (optional)
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Mix sour cream, cream cheese, granulated sugar and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Fold in grapes and place in a sealable container.
- In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and pecans together and sprinkle over the salad or, if not using brown sugar, just sprinkle the pecans over the salad. Chill overnight.
