Tipsy Sweet Potatoes

4 large sweet potatoes
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/2 cup Jack Daniels whiskey
Pecan halves

Boil 4 large sweet potatoes until tender. Peel and cut into chunks. Add sugar, butter and whiskey, and mash all together. Pour into casserole dish; top with pecan halves and bake at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
