Salmon and Pea Chowder

Ingredients

  • 2 strips bacon, diced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cups potato slices, 1/4 inch thick
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups flaked canned salmon
  • 2 1/2 cups cooked peas
  • 2 cups whole milk

Instructions

  1. Sauté bacon and onion until golden brown.
  2. Add potatoes and boiling water. Cook until potatoes are tender.
  3. Add remaining ingredients, and heat to boiling.
  4. Serve immediately.
