Salmon and Pea Chowder
Yield: 8 servings
Ingredients
- 2 strips bacon, diced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cups potato slices, 1/4 inch thick
- 3 cups boiling water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups flaked canned salmon
- 2 1/2 cups cooked peas
- 2 cups whole milk
Instructions
- Sauté bacon and onion until golden brown.
- Add potatoes and boiling water. Cook until potatoes are tender.
- Add remaining ingredients, and heat to boiling.
- Serve immediately.
