Shrimp Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 can tiny shrimp
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 8 ounces Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped

Instructions

  1. Drain shrimp, chop celery and onion.
  2. Soften butter and cream cheese (room temperature).
  3. Whip butter and cream cheese.
  4. Add onion and celery.
  5. Add lemon juice and mix; add shrimp.
  6. Mix all ingredients well.
  7. Refrigerate for 2 hours or longer.
  8. Let stand to soften before serving!
  9. Serve with crackers. (I use Ritz.)
