Sopa de Tortillas Migas

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound ground meat
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 4 ounces green chiles
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup tomatoes (sliced fresh)
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup onions
  • 1/2 cup soup stock

Instructions

  1. Cut the tortillas into 3/4 inch strips.
  2. Sauté the onions, add tomato and garlic powder with the meat and green chiles.
  3. Place the DRY tortilla strips in a casserole dish.
  4. Add the soup stock and the meat mixture.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.
