Cheese Pie (Kase Wake — Switzerland)

Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked piecrust
  • 1/2 pound Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine cheese and flour. Spread in piecrust.
  2. Combine milk and eggs. Add salt and pepper and pour over cheese.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to 325 degrees F and bake 30 more minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
