Baked Brie with Strawberry Jalapeño Jam

The creamy, rich brie pairs perfectly with sweet strawberries and a hint of jalapeño heat. Serve with crostini or your favorite crackers for an elegant appetizer!

Baked Brie with Strawbery Jalapeno Jam recipe

Prep: 10 min | Cook: 25 min | Chill: 2 hr | Yield: 1 (8 ounce) brie wheel

Ingredients

Strawberry Jalapeño Jam

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Baked Brie

  • 1 (8 ounce brie wheel
  • 1 cup Strawberry Jalapeño Jam
  • 1 fresh thyme sprig (optional)

Instructions

Strawberry Jalapeño Jam

  1. Place strawberries, jalapeño, lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and transfer to a jar. Allow the jam to cool for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Baked Brie

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place brie in small, shallow, ovenproof dish.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and transfer to serving plate.
  5. Top with 1 cup of the Strawberry Jalapeño Jam.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme, if desired.
  7. Serve immediately with crostini or crackers.

Notes

Jam can be made in advance and chilled overnight.
