Dressing Squares
Yield: 36 squares
Ingredients
- 1 (10 inch) skillet-baked cornbread
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 quart chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon sage
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Crumble cornbread and mix all ingredients.
- Spread thinly on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Cut into 36 bite-size pieces and serve at room temperature.
