  • 2 ripe, fresh California Avocados*, seeded, peeled and halved
  • 3 carrot tops, leaves only
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro stems
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 small lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin, toasted
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste

* Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Season with salt to taste and set aside until ready to use.
