Cheese Pastries

A great finger food for parties. Try dipping these in your favorite salsa.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (10-ounces) STOUFFER'S Welsh Rarebit, defrosted according to package directions
  • 1 package (11-ounces) pie pastry mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds or sesame seeds, (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Combine welsh rarebit, pie pastry mix and onion powder in a medium bowl. Roll out to 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 1 1/2 x 1/2-inch strips. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Sprinkle with poppy seeds, if desired.
  3. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Serve warm.
