Garlic-Buttered Grilled Shrimp

Garlic-Buttered Grilled Shrimp

Yield: 15 to 18 appetizers

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
  • 3 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp, shelled and drained

Instructions

  1. Melt butter; stir in parsley, garlic, hot pepper sauce and salt. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes over medium flame. Add wine; heat through.
  2. Thread shrimp on skewers. Grill over flame at high to medium setting for 12 minutes, turning frequently and brushing with butter mixture.
