Shrimp Mousse Spread
Ingredients
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 medium scallions, finely chopped
- 1 envelope Knox unflavored gelatine
- 1 pound shrimp, cooked and chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup real mayonnaise
Instructions
- Dissolve tomato soup and cream cheese over low heat. Remove from heat.
- Mix together the gelatine and water.
- Mix all the ingredients together and put into a mold or pan.
- Chill for at least 2 hours.
- Serve with various types of crackers.
Notes
Do NOT cover with foil. A reaction of the foil and the tomato soup causes holes to form in the foil!
