Smoked Catfish Spread
Ingredients
- 8 ounces smoked catfish fillet, broken into small pieces
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
- 2 teaspoons minced onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoons brandy
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor or mixer, and mix well.
- Pack the mixture into a small serving bowl, and refrigerate, covered, for at least 30 minutes and as long as 48 hours.
- Serve the spread with crackers or bread.
