For infants under six months.
- Peel, core, and de-seed pears. Cut into chunks. Steam pears for 10 to 12 minutes.
A pan with a steamer insert works well.
- Let pears cool until comfortable to touch.
- Place steamed pears in a blender or food processor and puree. To get the desired
consistency, add water. Use the water left from steaming.
- Fill sterilized ice cube trays with pear puree.
- Cover and freeze.
Note: Vary the amount for each cube based on appetite (or age) of infant.
