Ginger Frappe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 3/4 cup crystallized ginger, chopped
  • 1 liter bottle vodka

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a clean jar with a lid, reserving the bottle.
  2. Store tightly sealed in a cool, dark place for 3 months.
  3. Strain to remove the solids and return the liquid to the bottle. Allow to age for at least 1 month before serving.
  4. Serve chilled, over ice, or straight up.

Makes about 4 cups.
