- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 whole cloves
- 3/4 cup crystallized ginger, chopped
- 1 liter bottle vodka
- Combine all ingredients in a clean jar with a lid, reserving the bottle.
- Store tightly sealed in a cool, dark place for 3 months.
- Strain to remove the solids and return the liquid to the bottle. Allow to
age for at least 1 month before serving.
- Serve chilled, over ice, or straight up.
Makes about 4 cups.
