Apricot Liqueur


  • 1 liter (33.8 ounce) vodka
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages dried apricots

  1. In large jar combine all ingredients. Cover and let stand 6 weeks, stirring every 2 weeks.
  2. Remove apricots. Strain liqueur several times through double thickness of cheesecloth. Pour into decanter or bottle. Cap tightly.

Makes 3 cups.
