Anise Tea (Te de Anis - Mexico)
- 5 cups water
- 2 1/2 teaspoons aniseed
- Sugar, to taste
- Bring water to a boil and add aniseed.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let it steep, covered, for 20 minutes,
then strain out the seeds.
- Stir in sugar.
The tea can be served at room temperature, ice cold or reheated.
