Shaken Honey Matcha Latte

Shaken Honey Matcha Latte can be enjoyed cold, hot or frozen.

Shaken Honey Matcha Latte

Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

Honey Simple Syrup

  • Honey
  • Hot water

Latte

  • 2 fluid ounces Honey Simple Syrup
  • 2 teaspoons Matcha tea powder
  • 2 fluid ounces hot water
  • 16 fluid ounces coconut milk (as needed)
  • Ice

Instructions

Honey Simple Syrup

  1. Heat 2 parts honey to 1 part hot water in a saucepan over medium-low heat until the mixture reaches a simmer. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. Store at room temperature or refrigerate as desired. Lasts 4 weeks in the refrigerator.

Latte

  1. Combine Matcha tea powder and hot water in the bottom of a shaker and stir with a bar spoon until fully dissolved.
  2. Add the Honey Simple Syrup and coconut milk.
  3. Top the shaker with ice.
  4. Close the shaker and shake for 10 seconds.
  5. Pour beverage into pint glass and top with more ice if needed.
