No Crumble Cornbread



  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 2 eggs


  1. Sift dry ingredients.
  2. Add sour cream.
  3. Add hot water, then eggs.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees F for about 20 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean.
