Cinnamon Muffins
Yield: 15 to 16 muffins.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Soften butter and sugar together in microwave. Beat in eggs.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and allspice and stir gently into wet mix, alternating with the milk.
- Pour into greased muffin pans (never fill more than 1/2 to 1/3 full).
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until wooden pick comes out dry.
- Cool before removing from pan.
