Cream Cheese Muffin Puffs
Yield: 10 to 12
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (10 ounce) tube refrigerated biscuits
- 12 ounces cream cheese, cubed
Instructions
- Combine sugar, cinnamon and almond extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine butter and vanilla extract.
- Press biscuits into 3 inch circles.
- Dip cream cheese cube into butter mixture, then into sugar mixture. Place a cube in the center of each biscuit. Fold dough over cheese; seal well.
- Dip each filled biscuit into butter mixture, then in sugar mixture. place seam side down in ungreased muffin pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 12 to 18 minutes.
- Serve warm.
