Kiwifruit Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup pared and chopped kiwifruit

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease 12 muffin cups.
  2. Beat together milk, egg and oil.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients except kiwifruit; stir in milk mixture until flour is moistened.
  4. Divide half of batter into prepared muffin cups; spoon kiwifruit over batter.
  5. Top with remaining batter.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve hot.
