Southern Sausage Muffins


  • 1/2 pound pork sausage, browned and crumbled (not drained)
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup self-rising corn meal
  • 1 cup French onion dip
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk


  1. Combine cooked sausage, flour, cornmeal, onion dip, Cheddar cheese and milk in large bowl. Mix until combined.
  2. Spoon into prepared muffin tins, filling 2/3 full.
  3. Bake at 425 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.

Yield: 12 muffins
