Strawberry Oat Muffins Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
2/3 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
1 cup washed, hulled and chopped strawberries Instructions
Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Line large muffin tin with paper liners or spray
with non-stick spray and dust lightly with flour.
Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and egg.
Stir in dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Stir in oats.
Add almond flavoring.
Fold in strawberries.
Spoon into muffin cups, filling 3/4 full.
Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown
or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Brush with melted butter,
