Gumdrop Bread
Ingredients
- 3 cups sifted enriched all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup cut up gumdrops
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
Instructions
- Add gumdrops and nutmeats to remaining ingredients.
- Pour into greased miniature or regular loaf pans.
- Bake 1 hour or until done in a 350 degrees F oven.
Notes
Red and green gumdrops may be used for Christmas.
